About Us

The Manzanita Restaurant has been a local treasure for many years. Started in 1991 by Swiss born 5 Star Chef, Albert Kramer, who brought a taste of Europe to the Wild West.

chefRandy and Susan have owned the restaurant since 2006. Randy, taking over the kitchen, was trained by Albert and also traveled throughout Europe. Meeting with chefs all over Germany, he collected lots of secret tips  and  authentic recipes which added to his experience in preparing our German Entrees. Randy brings his own creative touch to many new dishes including; Citrus Chicken, Seafood Pasta Dishes, Vegetable Strudel, Crab Cakes, Braised Pork Shank. He is however, best known for his flare with Wild Game and features items such as; Bison, Wild Boar, Antelope, Kangaroo, Python and much more.

Providing the Verde Valley with not only home cooked German Cuisine, but now some of the best Steaks, Seafood, and Wild Game. Our updated dining room still holds the warm ambiance of European Dining, yet the casual feeling that Arizona is accustomed to.
